Inerest and support of carbon neutral credits is increasing as people seek to mitigate the effects of air travel, product manufacturing and consumer activity both during business hours and increasingly, a factor in making vacation choices.

Carbon neutral credits can be used for planting trees, offsetting the prices of solar or wind energy but questions are arising as to the validity of benefit, and actual use of the funds.

Whether it is most effective to use these credits on a global or local level is also under consideration.
