The Maui Festival begins the weekend of October 17 & 18, at Maui Community College, with Saturday’s Healthy Tennis Workshop & Movie Night, and Sunday’s Festival Celebration & Expo!

Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois- Ashtanga yoga legend passes.

Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois, popularly known as Guruji by his yoga students across the globe , died on Monday at his house in Gokulam, Inda. Pattabhi Jois was an international proponent of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. He traveled extensively and had last taught in Hawaii (Kauai) in the summer of 2000.

Hawaii Book and Music Festival May 16 & 17

The Hawaii Book and Music Festival will be held at Honolulu Hale in Honolulu on May 16 and 17. This year the annual event will feature 175 events and over 500 featured presenters. Admission is free.
